  • Thank you for your interest in the 2023 Board of Regents Alumni Election. Please complete the following form to nominate yourself or another alumni to run for one of the 6 alumni seats on Memorial University's Board of Regents.  Memorial University is committed to equity, diversity and inclusion. We encourage nominations from all qualified alumni including women, people of any sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, Indigenous peoples, visible minorities and racialized people, and people with disabilities. Nominations run from May 29 to June 26, 2023.

    Before proceeding forward, please review the Board of Regents Alumni Election Guidelines to ensure you or the person you are nominating is eligible. The nomination form collects the following information:

    1. Personal Information – includes address, contact details, degree information and current occupation specifics of the nominee;
    2. Nominee Biographical/Campaign Statement (250 words or less) – to be posted online and should provide voters an overview of who the nominee is, why they are interested in being a Regent and the value/experience they would bring to the board; and
    3. Nominee High-resolution Photograph (JPEG) – to be posted online along side the nominee’s Biographical/Campaign Statement.

    Other items submitted (e.g. CVs, resumes, articles, etc...) will not be utilized in the process.

  • Biographical/Campaign Statement Upload
    Please upload ( MS Word or PDF format) a 250 word max Biographical/Campaign Statement of the NOMINEE. The statement should provide voters an overview of who the nominee is, why they are interested in being a Regent and the value/experience they would bring to the board. This will be posted online for voters to review as a part of the voting process. Please note that if the submitted statement is longer than 250 words, it will be edited by removing the copy that exceeds the 250 word mark. Any other documents uploaded here (i.e. resumes, CVs, articles, etc.) will not be utilized in the process.
