2025 Alumni Tribute Awards
Memorial University alumni sparkle all over the world, every day. We honour their accomplishments most prominently at the annual Alumni Tribute Awards, and we are so pleased to invite you to celebrate with us at the 44th annual awards ceremony!

This year’s recipients are:
- Alumni of the Year Award: Emad Rizkalla, B.Eng.'92
- J.D. Eaton Award: Peter Carver, B.Comm.(Hons.)(Co-op.)'81
- Outstanding Community Service Award: Margaret Butt, BN'88
- Horizon Award: Dr. John Jeddore, B.Sc.'12, MD'17

Event details

Date: Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2025
Time: 7 – 9:30 p.m. (Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Awards ceremony takes place from 7 – 8:30 p.m., followed by a standing reception.)
Location: Emera Innovation Exchange, Signal Hill Campus, 100 Signal Hill, St. John’s
Ticket Price: $75.00 + 4.5% processing fee and HST (Total cost $90.13)
Table of Six: $375.00 + 4.5% processing fee and HST (Total cost $450.65)

We are offering six tickets for the price of five. Ticket price includes parking, coat check, light hors d'oeuvres and refreshments. There will also be a cash bar.

The evening's celebrations commence with the awards ceremony followed by a standing reception. The standing reception includes complimentary light appetizers and a cash bar (Debit, VISA or MASTERCARD).

Ticket sales will end at 11:59 p.m. Newfoundland Time, Friday, Oct. 3, 2025!
