THE SEVENTEENTH BIENNIAL IQSA CONFERENCE ON QUANTUM STRUCTURES 2026

The International Quantum Structures Association (IQSA) is a society for the advancement and dissemination of structures based on quantum mechanics, in its physical, mathematical, philosophical, applied and interdisciplinary aspects, including the relevant aspects of: convex structures, logico-algebraic structures, orthomodular structures, quantum logics, empirical logics, operational structures, realistic structures, quantum measurement, quantum geometry, quantum statistics, quantum probability, quantum topology, quantum space time, quantum set theory, quantum information, quantum communication, quantum computation, fuzzy quantum logics.

We welcome work in any of the above areas including also interdisciplinary applications of quantum structures. 

The International Quantum Structures Association was founded in 1990.

Rate:

• $80 per person, per night + taxes (half of a suite in Macpherson College: private bedroom, semi-private washroom).
• If delegates want the full suite to themselves: $160 + taxes.

Guests can indicate a preferred suite-mate in the “special requests” section. Rates are room-only and do not include meals. Taxes: 15% HST + 4% city accommodations tax.

Please book your room before June 1. Delegates can still book after that date, but rates and locations may differ and will be subject to availability.

If delegates have any questions when booking, they should be directed to stay@mun.ca. Please note that as this is the off-season, delegates should allow 2-3 business days for responses.

 

Macpherson is our newer residence and is comprised of two-bedroom suites. This means that each person will have their own private bedroom (1 single bed), and share the washroom, and shower with just their suite-mate. Paton College is our traditional residence style and is comprised of Standard Twin (2 twin beds) and Standard Double (1 double bed) rooms. There are shared washrooms on each floor.
