    Part-Time Graduate Internship – Spring 2026 Term
    Duration: 12 weeks (Spring 2026)
    Hours/Week: Up to 24 hours per week
    Location: Remote or on-site in St. John’s, NL
    Compensation: $25.94/hour

    Position Overview
    • This role will focus on web design, development, and digital presence for BioLabMate. The intern will bring strong skills in graphic design, website development, and deployment, helping create a modern, engaging, and high-performing digital platform.
    • The ideal candidate is creative, technically capable, and experienced with website builders (e.g., Wix), web deployment, and visual content creation.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Design, develop, and maintain a responsive and user-friendly company website.
    • Work with platforms such as Wix, WordPress, or similar tools for rapid development and deployment.
    • Handle website deployment, hosting setup, domain configuration, and updates.
    • Create high-quality graphics, layouts, and visual content for web and marketing use.
    • Improve UI/UX design to enhance user experience and engagement.
    • Optimize website performance, SEO, and accessibility.
    • Support development of landing pages and product showcase pages.
    • Integrate basic tools such as forms, analytics, and third-party plugins.
    • Collaborate with the team to align branding, storytelling, and product communication.
    • Provide regular updates and documentation of work.

    Qualifications
    • Experience with website design platforms (Wix, WordPress, or similar).
    • Strong skills in graphic design (Figma, Canva, Adobe Suite, etc.).
    • Experience with web deployment, hosting, and domain setup.
    • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web structure (preferred but not mandatory).
    • Understanding of UI/UX design principles.
    • Familiarity with SEO and web analytics tools.
    • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
    • Background in Computer Engineering, IT, Design, or related fields.
