  • The School of Graduate Studies is delighted to welcome new graduate students to the Fall 2026 Graduate Student Welcome Event at Memorial University. This event is designed to support students as they make the unique transition to graduate studies and become part of the Memorial University community.

    This year's welcome event will feature greetings from the University's President and Vice-Chancellor, as well as the Deputy Provost and Dean of Graduate Studies. The event will also include information sessions, engaging icebreaker activity, a networking lunch, welcome packages, and prize draws.

    The welcome event provides an excellent opportunity to meet your peers, build new connections, and learn about student associations and societies representing a variety of academic disciplines and cultures. We hope these connections will help you feel welcomed and supported as you begin your graduate studies at Memorial University.
