Meet up with us in the heart of Calgary with live music by Newfoundland and Labrador folk musician (and proud Memorial alumnus!) Matthew Byrne (BA(Hons.)’07, MA’08), fresh off his Newfoundland and Labrador Music Association Folk Artist of the Year Award!

Matthew has established himself as one of Canada’s foremost traditional singers. His rich and powerful vocals, refined guitar style and compelling interpretations of unique traditional songs have made him a favourite of folk audiences at home in Newfoundland and Labrador and abroad. Wherever in the world you were born, and wherever you may roam, on Nov. 5, Newfoundland and Labrador will be your home!
